Emily and Eric’s Harpor’s Vineyard wedding took place on a gorgeous, sunny day. They were among their closet friends and family that traveled from all over the midwest and California. Emily is an Iowa State grad and left for Southern California following graduation. It was there that worlds collided, and she met her southern California soulmate, Eric.
Shelly Sarver Designs decorated Harpor’s Vineyard for their wedding day using neutral florals and hints of caramel and gold to create a modern look with a touch of boho. The Powder Studio team did the women’s hair and makeup as the guys hung out in the corn pin at the Vineyard.
Emily and Eric decided to not see one another until Emily walked down the aisle. Emotions were high between the two and many tears were shed. Their close friend officiated the ceremony with a heart felt message on the commitment of love, the seasons that will be up and down, and the power of cherishing one another. The reception followed the ceremony with heart-felt toasts from their siblings, and a final message from Eric, the groom.
I was honored to capture this organic love story. Photographing their Harpor’s Vineyard wedding day was full of flirty moments of connection between the two. I am cheering for their marriage to be strong and full of adventure.
