Cassandra and Jon’s Tamory Hall wedding in Pella, Iowa was a sweet, intimate affair.
Cassandra and Jon met after Cassandra decided to join a campus ministry that planted a church in Lansing, MI. – home of Michigan State University. After Jon proposed, Cassandra started the wedding planning for an early fall day in September.
The ceremony and reception took place at a venue just off the downtown square in Pella, Iowa at Tamory Hall Events. This is a cool, industrial-style event venue that was the perfect backdrop for Cass and Jon’s modern, boho wedding vibe. Baron and Bell decorated the space with neutral florals and pops of mauve and teracotta. The head table included terracotta velvet chairs under a large bouquet of pampas grasses.
One of my favorite moments of the day was when Cassandra’s maternal grandmother embraced her after seeing her last few buttons snapped on her wedding gown. This moment was full of tears, Cassandra’s mom has passed away when she was a young girl.
After they shared their vows, a dear friend shared an intimate, heartfelt message. The rest of the evening was full of heart-felt toasts, dancing, and enjoying some cake.
